    It's a New Year!

Hello!  Lot happened since my last entry. Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Years. Got my son a new Windows XP Media Center pc for Christmas.

I became involved with a fellow employee of WKTV that purchased 200 Apple Power Mac 6500 computers from Troy High School. I was the one that researched the possibility of restoring these. The "225 mhz" processor not worth the effort. The "250 mhz" processor-maybe.  If installed with Apple OS 9.1 the "250" might work. Otherwise, too slow, unable to handle websites with graphics intensive displays. Oh, well....maybe someone will want them....

Major event occurred at my place of employment-www.WKTV.com
We lost an engineer that's been there for 10 years to sudden unexplained death. Ater he failed to show up for work two days in a row, management went to look for him-found him dead in his living room. He died three days prior to this discovery. Possibl brain annurism. Pete maneen was 50. He lived alone in the house he owned so no one missed him.  Major tributes to him by many current and past employees of WKTV. It will be extremely difficult to replace him as he was a very active engineer. He will be missed by all
