    Addendum to 082606.1

    Just got off the phone with Jim (Beetle machanic) He thinks the clutch problem has been resolved...we'll see
     
    Unfortunately he discovered that the throttle cable is close to failure. This he must order and it may be ready Monday
     
    What componant have we not replaced?  It is for all purposes a "new" car.  I will continue to improve upon delivering heat to the windshield just to keep frost off the window. I have no intention to ever drive it in the snow, but long before snow arrives, there will be heavy amounts of frost on the window.
     
    More adventures & excitement to come re: these cars, I'm sure!
